Joie Chen, anchor of Al Jazeera America’s prime-time evening news show America Tonight, will be the featured guest at the February 3 “first Monday” lunch program at American Foreign Service Association in Washington, D.C. The program is free, but reservations are required by e-mail to acpowell [at] usc [dot] edu.
Chen has been the anchor of America Tonight since it first aired in August 2013. She earlier worked as a correspondent with CBS News and CNN.
American Foreign Service Association is located at 2101 E Street NW in Washington, D.C. (Metro: Foggy Bottom). The program runs from 12:00 noon to 1:20 pm, and is organized by the USC Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership and Policy, USC Center on Public Diplomacy, and Public Diplomacy Council.
