Hear About Popular Culture and Public Diplomacy at Next First Monday Forum

The next Public Diplomacy Council/USC First Monday lunch forum takes place on Monday, 5 May at 12:00 pm, featuring Martha Bayles discussing popular culture and public diplomacy. Bayles is author of the book Through a Screen Darkly: Popular Culture, Public Diplomacy, and America’s Image Abroad (Yale University Press, 2014).

A frequent contributor to the Wall Street Journal and numerous other publications, Bayles is a lecturer at Boston College and previously taught at Claremont McKenna College. She’s also the author of two other books.

PDC-USC lunch forums take place at the American Foreign Service Association, 2101 E Street NW in Washington DC (Foggy Bottom Metro) and start promptly at 12 noon.
