The next University of Southern California/Public Diplomacy Council “First Monday” sandwich lunch forum, takes place on Monday 4 November, 12:00 to 1:00 pm, with the theme: Public Diplomacy as a Global Phenomenon: Japan. Masato Otaka, Minister for Public Affairs at the Embassy of Japan, will speak about his country’s public diplomacy and how it is implemented in the United States.
The event is held at American Foreign Service Association, 2101 E Street NW, in Washington DC (Foggy Bottom metro). Sandwiches and soft drinks/bottled water will be served. The event is free, but RSVPs by e-mail are required by Friday 1 November to eva [dot] harder [dot] pdc [at] gmail [dot] com.
