National Council for International Visitors (NCIV) will hold its next national meeting January 29 to February 1, 2014 in Washington, D.C. at the Renaissance Hotel, 999 Ninth Street NW. NCIV says its national meeting is a forum for developing skills, identifying key trends, and sharing best practices in international exchange and nonprofit management.
This year’s theme for the meeting is Global Ties: Integrate, Innovate, Impact. The program expects to have training sessions in:
- Nonprofit capacity building
- Strengthening IVLP programming skills
- Opportunities in international exchange
- Understanding foreign policy
- Speaking up for international exchange
